White Widow Strain
White Widow Strain is legendary for its high resin production and is a staple sativa-dominant hybrid with powerful energizing effects. It was produced by Dutch veterans Green House Seeds in the 1990s as a cross between Brazilian Indica and South Indian sativa land races.
White Widow has since joined the ranks of these legendary strains, winning an early High Times Cannabis Cup in 1995 and several awards since. Bred specifically for a high trichome count, this strain is mostly valued in the production of hash. This strain has an average THC composition of 20%, with some phenotype exceeding that amount.
White Widow Overview
A powerful burst of euphoria and energy breaks through immediately, stimulating both conversation and creativity. Effects are consistent with that of the best sativa-dominant plants, offering users a steller, almost psychedelic high. Smokers will feel this in their head, with a cerebral wave washing over them. The flavor is clean and pine-fresh, with a hint of citrus on the exhale thus a tasty smoke experience. It’s genetics have given rise to many other legends like White Russian, Rhino, and Blue Widow. Still, many growers prefer cultivation of the original strain which flowers in about 60 days indoors.
